This is Flossie the Irish Water Spaniel. She was trimmed by the Chrisse, Kerry and Julie of the English Groomers Group. The Irish Water spaniel is a complex breed to trim and we went for a weekend with a breeder who kindly explained the finer points of the breed, put us up, fed us and let us practice on her show dogs! She was hand scissored all over and any tufts on the naturally short bits (tail and throat) were shaved with a 10 blade.
